That powerful roar so synonymous with this American beast only gets better with time, and the latest installment from Dodge promises to be the best one yet. Take a sneak-peak at some of the features that have been revealed thus far.

It’s Said To Look More Sinister

The 2018 Charger took on a slightly more rounded shape than its predecessors, appealing to a bigger market. This was only to be a seasonal change as the 2019 Charger is said to once again bear the grille of a beast. More defined edges are something drivers should expect if the rumors are true. The 2019 Charger is also said to sport another badge that will give it that cutting edge over its competitors: Hellcat. The comparison between the Challenger SRT Hellcat and the Charger SRT Hellcat will be interesting, especially if they’ve been designed for two different groups of petrolheads. While the Demon was a one-of-a-kind design and made for the drag strip, Dodge fans are waiting in anticipation to see what the Hellcats have to offer.

Is It One Nostril Or Two?

Getting a sneak peak of the 2019 Charger is more tortuous than simply withholding the information entirely, as it opens up the door to more questions. The single, extremely large air intake is a mystery and solving it will require some basic engine knowledge and a keen understanding of Dodge’s penchant for symmetry. This large air intake may just allude to a bigger or more powerful engine, as more cooling is required. This means that the engine could be more impressive than the already impressive 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine with its 707 horsepower.

It’s All About An Impressive Grille

Dodge is known for spending a large chunk of their budget on design, and that is because part of the appeal of any of the Dodge models is that formidable facade. This leads those in the motoring world to believe that they won’t simply have a single air intake, but rather two. Whether there is an actual need for the second one, or merely just to satisfies Dodge’s desire for symmetry, will all be revealed when the engine is made known.

It Has The Backing Of The Demon

Companies like Dodge who continuously provide cars that exceed expectations have a far greater challenge on their hands to improve on perfection. Luckily for Dodge fans, they step up to the plate and provide the motoring world with marvels such as the Hellcat and Demon. Although the Challenger Demon was supposed to be a one-off production, it has set the tone for future Dodge muscle, whether Challenger or Charger. Fans will want nothing short of horsepower that exceeds the current 707, perhaps a little closer to the Demon’s 840.

Due for release in the summer of 2018, the 2018 Dodge Charger is bound to be one for the fans. One thing is for certain, it will at the very least have an impressive and formidable grille.
