2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Massachusetts

The 2025 Ram 1500 gets a new engine lineup for the 2025 model year. While the 305 horsepower Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine is still standard for the 2025 Ram 1500, three new engines are made available, including an all-new plug-in hybrid. The first two are variants of a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine. By swapping out a larger eight-cylinder engine for a straight-six-cylinder engine with two turbochargers for forced air induction, the Ram 1500 achieves more power and lower emissions, making it somewhat of a no-brainer. The first twin-turbo straight-six engine is the standard output, which delivers a hefty 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque for a maximum towing capacity of up to 11,560 pounds. Meanwhile, the high-output variant pumps out 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque for a 10,740-pound towing capacity. Finally, Ram's first-ever plug-in hybrid electric vehicle powertrain is found in the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, also available with the Tungsten trim. The Ramcharger features the aforementioned Pentastar engine while adding an onboard generator to convert the engine's mechanical power into electricity and power the electric drive modules found on each axle for 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque for a max towing capacity of up to 14,000 pounds.

Even on the outside, the Tungsten trim is easy to pick out from the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup, even without seeing the tailgate's 'Tungsten' badge. Its instantly recognizable design begins with a one-off grille. While the overall appearance of the grille is the same as the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup, with its intimidating forward-leaning posture, distinctive details are added to note its ultra-premium nature. The grille is black and has lighter-colored accents over it, creating eye-catching columns with a striking contrasting pattern. Premium LED headlights flank the grille with a new design for the 2025 model year.
